Masculine Monogram Cards

I am officially addicted to my Spellbinder's Labels 4 Nestabilities dies.  I just love the shape.

Labels 4 Brayton Masculine card

Today I thought I would share with you a couple of Masculine Monogram Cards using JustRite Brayton Font.  The paper is from one of my favorite paper pads K&Companies Blue Awnings.  I have made so many projects from this paper pad.  Most of the cards I made were very feminine and I decided that the more masculine paper in my pad needed a little lovin'.

JustRite Summer Release #1 - Thinking of You

Welcome to the JustRite Summer Release - Reveal!!  I can't believe how long I have been away from my personal blog...but don't fret I have been very busy working on lots of JustRite Projects!  Today we are revealing a Great New Set for the Just Rite Large Oval - 2 1/4" x 3 1/16".  I love this set - I actually made cards with all 6 images!!  You can see the first two cards on the Justrite blog ( I used the new Spellbinder's Lattice Pendant and Dies on those cards---so you really need to click back to the JustRite blog to see them if you came here first and to sign up to win this set free with the wooden stamper).  For my next card I used the New Trompe dis Lis Pendant from Spellbinders.  My card is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Lilacs photo 2

I don't know about you but I never have a Sympathy Card when I need one...Until now I didn't even own a Sympathy stamp.  This is a great set because in one set you get everyting you need - 6 decorative borders - all interchangeable and the new oval designs from JustRite come in 2 0rientations - Vertical and Horizontal!! And the set can be used for lots of different kinds of cards.  Today's card could be a Birthday or a Thinking of you.  Or I could use one of the sentiments inside the card for a Sympathy Card.  Here's a look at the entire set:

Thinking of You

If you don't have the Oval Wood Stamper yet - JustRite has the Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Ensemble on sale for $10.00 which is less then the price of the wooden stamper. So basically the stamps in the set are free!!

To create my JustRite Image, I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento on Neenah Classic Solar White and colored my floral bouquet using Copic Markers.  To accent the frame of the image I highlighted it with Yellow chalk from Pebbles Inc.  The fun green plaid glitter paper is from It's My Party - short glitter stack form My Mind's Eye (gorgeous paper pad!!)

If you haven't seen the Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis pendant Dies yet - here is a picture of the what the Fleur de Lis die looks like.

 S4-204-FLEUR-DE-LIS-PENDANT

The Fleur de Lis is a popular decorative element; it is said to signify perfection, light and love.
Here are the dimensions for the dies
Pendant - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"
Center - 1 3/4 x 1 3/4"
Accent 1 - 1 1/8 x 1"
Accent 2 - 1x1"

On my card I die cut 2 Pendants from white cardstock and matted them with Scalloped Square Nestabilities. I placed the first pendant at a 90 degree angle and the second pendant behind it in a square Orientation.  The decorative elements are heart accents from Renaissance Hearts Pendant Dies. To see tons of great projects made with this die visit Becca Feeken's Blog (You need to see her projects all of last week).  I absolutely love the Christmas Ornament she designed with this die.

May your heart and soul find peace photo 2

This is the card I designed for the JustRite Package Months ago.  As you can see I love Fleur De Lis's.

I stamped on white cardstockand embossed this card using Ranger Super Detail Gold Embossing powder then I die cut the oval with Spellbinder's Classic Oval Nestabilities - Note Spellbinder's has two different shapes of Oval Nestabilities- Our stamps are designed to coordinate with the Classic Oval which is the chubbier of the two oval sets. They are not compatible with the Petite Ovals.

I used the EK Success Fleur De Lis punch for the belly band on the card.I always save all the leftover droppings from this punch.  And that is what I used to embellish the mat frame on my image.  My butterflies are an EK Success Punch as well.

Be sure to check out what Heidi Blankenship & Sharon Johnson have designed for cards using this set.

JustRite Release #2 Blog Hop

What's New Girlfriend Card photo 2

Welcome to the JustRite Release #2 Blog Hop!! For this card I used an image from the new 1 3/16" tiny words set   This paper pack "LA CREME stack"  from DCWV is one of my all time fav's. It has beautiful flocked papers and yummy designs.   It also comes wth gorgeous chipboard flocked embellishments as well.

For the glitter mat I used my SU Flower punch, for the 2nd mat I used my scallop nestabilites to die cut black glossy chromkote.  For the chipboard label I stamped the word girlfreind using trompe upper and lowercase font with my harmony rectangular stamper on creme paper and adhere it to the label chipboard embellishment. The label itself was too slick to stamp on.

To see all of the other great projects visit the rest of the JustRite Design team. Be sure to visit everyone as one design team member has JustRite Blog Candy.

Supplie List: JustRite Stamps -1 3/16" Tiny Words, Trompe Uppercase & Lowercase Font, Harmony Rectangular Stamper, Chipboard Flocked Stickers LA CREME- DCWV, 9x9 Paper stack "LA CREME"Stack-DCWV, Ribbon- Sabrina Trims- Making Memories.

Wishing You Love & Happiness Gift Box

Top of wedding box

When I was making my wedding card I decided to stamp an extra image and decided that it would be fun to use the design in a more contemporay format.  I found these fun boxes in the Dollar Section of Michael's.  They came in a variety of colors with several different words on the side of the box lid.  This one was perfect for making a flower on the top of the box with my Scalloped Nestablities.

Love gift box

I added the black red and white striped ribbon to the top of the box bottom.  Plus three Kaiser Black Pearls and the tiny black butterfly.

JustRite Wedding Card

Wedding Card Photo 2

Here is a wedding card that I designed by being a little creative with my JustRite Stamps.  First I stamped just the Damask border in black. Then I turned the image 90 degrees which gave me a nice size space to insert a message inside the Damask Design.  I decided to carefully trim the center image from the wedding center which says "Wishing you Love and Happiness"   By trimming around the edges I would be able to see to stamp the verse inside the space left in the Damask Border.

Close up of Wedding Acrylic block

To design my own acrylic mount - so that I could perfectly place the sentiment -I cut a section big enough for the saying from the gray rubber grid that originally stored JustRite Font (before it came on a black plastic storage tray). I adhered the grid to a clear block and then snapped my verse in place and inked it with red and perfectly positioned the saying in the center of the Damask Border.  I just love how it looks.

Close up of Flower from Wedding Card

The gorgeous flower is from Prima part of their new paradise petals collection which comes with a variety of layers of petals in various colors that allow you to create your own flower.  How cool is that??  The tent card is from PaperCuts and just happens to be the perfect size for a 1 5/8" image.

Supplies:JustRite Stamps: Wedding Ensemble, Damask Borders, 1 5/8" Monogram Stamper, Paper: Basic Grey - Scarlet Letter Recognition, Prima Paradise Petals, PaperCuts- Tent Card, black velvet ribbon, Kaiser adhesive pearls, Pearl Brad - Brides, Double Heart metal embellishment
